6:00 PM to eat and 7:00 PM for the business meeting.
The 145.250, 146.76 and the 147.375 repeater in Randolph County
are linked all the time,withvoice ID's
The 146.760 (-600) with a tone of 164.7 N2DMR repeater is
located at Brown Summit with the DMR repeater
The 145.25 repeater is up and running.
Use PL tone of 97.4 in your radio.
The 147.375 repeater is part of the link.
Use PL tone of 114.8 in your radio.

ALSO the VHF 146.760 (N2DMR) machine PL of 156.7
has great coverage and is available for use. It's located in the
northeast corner of the county at 310 feet.
FCC NEWS
As promised, the FCC will now begin charging a $35 fee for new
licenses, upgrades, vanity call signs
and license renewals.
The applicant must pay the fee directly to the FCC
the Volunteer
Examiners will not collect it.
ALSO DMR UPDATES:
The W4GG DMR antenna has been replaced and now works
with a better coverage area.
A new DMR repeater has been installed
on top of the hospital in High Point and linked with the "locals"
on Brown Summit and Asheboro
The High Point freqency is 443.725 and the same TG layout
The Asheboro DMR is 440.7125 same TG layout
PLEASE NOTE:
The W4GG DMR repeater is NOT Brandmeister
and can not be accessed with a "hot spot."
If YOU want Brandmeister, use the King repeater listed below
or get a yourself a "hot spot" which can be obtained
from many dealers, so you can access all The BM talkgroups.
The King repeater is now Brandmeister

313715 CC2 TS 2 - this is a fulltime talkgroup for LOCAL ONLY
TS 1 is also CC2 and is on demand for
your choice of TG for the BM network
and will only be on for 15 minutes with no activity.
We need
your support by renewing your
G.A.S. membership.
This is due January 1 and helps us
fund the upkeep of the repeaters.

| NET TIMES USING THE GARA (Randolph Co.) REPEATER The G.A.S.Ragchew net is on 145.25 on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 The new traffic and ragchew net schedule is as follows: The Central & Western North Carolina Traffic Net will be held nightly at 7:00 on the 145.25 repeater. For your convenience, there will be a ragchew net nightly at 7:30 or following the traffic net if running long. The Randolph Amateur Radio Club will host the ragchew net on Monday night. Any other scheduled users of the repeater are not affected. |
