Okay. Anyone out there with any ideas on a meeting location with food
available? We all know of Golden Corral (either W. Wendover as before or Lawndale Drive) that has a meeting room but do you know of any others that you would like to try? We need one with enough room for 15-20 people to meet plus have a program. Your ideas are welcome, solicited and will be followed up on. Faster you get them in, the quicker we might have a place available.

Just a reminder. Meeting has changed location back to the Golden Corral Restaurant at W. Wendover and I-40 for Monday evening, April 21. 6:30 or thereabouts to eat, meeting and program to start 7:00 pm.

Ok. It's time to let us know if you are coming to the May 19th meeting of
the Guilford Amateur Society. It will NOT be held at the Golden Corral
Restaurant.

It will be held at Bur-Mil Park at US 220 and Owls Roost Road. Yep, it's a COOKOUT and best yet, NO CHARGE!!!

7:00 meeting and program

We hope to have a couple of exciting things going on since we will be at a shelter so it should be a fun evening. We'll be done before it gets totally dark and something different for everyone to come out, enjoy some food and talk to others in a casual environment and then have our meeting in the great outdoors. Plus, it's still not too hot yet and we didn't want to wait until the middle of summer. So, we need to know if you are coming so we can make the appropriate reservations for the shelter. Different shelters hold different numbers of people so the number of you that let us know that you are coming will help us in picking the right size shelter. It's still a way's off but we have to plan now and get a shelter reserved but we need to know if you are coming so please respond to this email if you are coming. We will make announcements on the Wednesday night net on 145.250 which runs
from 8:45 to 9:30 with our own Jim Hightower and Dave Collins moderating.

So, respond and let us know and we will start the search for the shelter and keep everyone informed of the progress. Don't Wait!!!
